Christian apologists who try to defend Luther of his antisemitic writings are not being truthful. Luther’s ‘On the Jews and their Lies’ is clearly antisemitic and is indefensible. The book demonstrates that Zionism is necessary to prevent the antisemitism we see in WWII. While Dispensationalists depart from Luther’s antisemitism and are contributing to Zionism and to the reduction of Jews’ suffering, they create further problems by maintaining Luther’s theological mistakes.
